270M above the ground. One breath of oxygen and it explodes in a deadly rage.
Black, acrid smoke, flying debris, collapsing stairwells. When a massive fire breaks out in the rotating restaurant of the Berlin Television Tower, trapping over 80 people high above the city streets – ex-fireman Tom defies all the rules and charges in to the burning tower. Together with the fire brigade he fights a losing battle against the advancing inferno. After all the stairwells collapse, the firemen desperately acknowledge there’s no way to save the tower… or the lives of the frantically terrified people within. Then Tom comes up a dangerous plan that might rescue them all – if they can somehow explode CO2 cylinders throughout the building, it’s possible that the spreading carbon dioxide could extinguish the fire…reading carbon dioxide could extinguish the fire…
