When 11 year-old Tim accidentally discovers a photo on the internet of Scottish researcher who happens to look exactly like his father, he’s driven to find out the truth. Tim sneaks off and travels to Scotland where he finds not only his real father, but also the comical, 600-year-old Druid Oki. Oki reveals to Tim the long-lost secret of Loch Ness, but this is just the beginning of his extraordinary journey. Tim makes the acquaintance of the magician Merlin and also gets to meet the famous Nessie. As magical as it has all been, when crooks kidnap his parents to get their hands on the fabled Philosopher’s Stone, Time discovers that he holds the greatest secret of all.
